Isabel McGee McCall, 69 passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 at Wake Memorial Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born August 3, 1942 to the late Frank and Corinne H. McGee.
She was a graduate of Savannah High School and attended Armstrong State College. She graduated from The College of Lake County, Waukegan, Illinois with a degree in Nursing. She was a R.N., working at several hospitals and home healthcare facilities, as well as the Hospice of the Valley, in Phoenix, Arizona.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank McGee, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Corinne Mcall-Hulse, and Barrett Hulse, of Raleigh, NC, and her grandson Brayden Hulse, who was the love of her life. Also surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Corinne and Mickey Thompson, of Sheldon, SC, niece and her husband, Karen and Chuck Cooley, of Edmond, OK, nephew, Mickey Thompson, Jr., of Sheldon, SC, great-nieces, Kiley Bush and Samantha Thompson, and great-nephew, Mickey Thompson, III.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Bonaventure Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flowers Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014, or the American Heart Association.

Corrine, Henry & I send you and your family our sincere sympathy. It saddened me to hear of Isabel's death. I had lost track of her in these years. I thought of her particularly at our 50th SHS reunion and wanted to get in touch. I'm sorry I didn't. I'm so thankful she had a daughter and grandchild she loved. She was such a large part of my growing up. We shared many secrets and fun times. I can see her now drying her long blond hair in front of the bathroom heater. I cherish those memories. Corine, I'm not sure you will remember me or my family but your mom was good friends with my mother before she died in 1995 and you and I took a runaway roadtrip to California. I had the pleasure of growing up with Corinne and sharing many wonderful times at Belle's home. She was such a supportive and loving woman and mother. I feel so very blessed to have shared many years of my life in the McCall home. There is nothing she wouldn't do to help another person as her kind heart was always overflowing. She will forever hold a very dear and special place in my heart. I will miss seeing the beautiful pictures of her with her pride and joy....Braden and Corinne, but I am certain she is watching them from above and rests with the Lord. Love you Belle....
